Denali, the largest mountain on the North American Continent is about 100 air miles north of Anchorage. The best views happen about 40 to 50 miles from the mountain, which is four miles high. The area best for these views is also very well used buy other recreational vehicles like Snow-machines, ATVs, and Dog Mushers. Below is a picture taken out the car window at mile 120 of the Parks Hwy. AWBC Ballooning events, integrated with recreational Snow-machining and Dog Mushing are scheduled for future years at this location.
