STRATEGY:

This event will be dependent upon community support and participation.  Ballooning is a sport that requires an emphasis on landowner relations.  The event will require the cooperation of public institutions like public schools and parks for inflations and landings of the balloons.  The success of the event will depend on the cooperation of these agencies:

• ·        State of Alaska; The Governor’ Office

• ·        The Anchorage School District   

• ·        Ft Richardson Military Reservation

• ·        Elmendorf Air Force Base

• ·        The US Coast Guard

• ·        FAA Flight Standards District Office

• ·        FAA Air Traffic Control
